What This Course Covers
Our People Moving & Handling Train the Trainer course equips healthcare and social care professionals with the knowledge, practical skills and teaching techniques required to deliver safe and effective moving and handling training within their organisation.
Designed for experienced staff, trainers and moving & handling champions, the course combines current legislation, risk assessment, anatomy and biomechanics, practical handling techniques, equipment use and adult learning principles.
Delegates will learn how to confidently plan, deliver and assess training sessions while promoting person-centred care, reducing the risk of musculoskeletal injuries and supporting compliance with UK legislation and recognised best practice.
Through practical exercises, demonstrations and scenario-based learning, participants will develop the confidence to train others, assess competence and help create a safer working environment for both staff and the people they support.
